4-H Summer Camp

Summer Camp 2020

We are incredibly sad and disappointed to have to write this message, due to the current public health situation, the requirements of social distancing in groups of 10 or less from the University, and the recent WDCF guidelines for hosting camps during this time (https://dcf.wisconsin.gov/files/press/2020/covid/bbb-camp-recs.pdf) we have decided to cancel camp for this summer. We are concerned about the health and safety of all of our staff and youth who attend camp and do not believe we would be able to offer a camp experience that follows guidelines, keeps everyone safe and is fun and enjoyable for all.

Any payments you have made towards camp will be refunded in the form of a check from the Extension Outagamie County office. We hope to be back to camp at Upham Woods in 2021 and have already signed the contract for July 6-10. So make sure to mark your calendars. Registration usually opens the beginning of March for 4-H members.

Please watch Calumet (https://calumet.extension.wisc.edu/4-h-youth-development/), Outagamie County (https://calumet.extension.wisc.edu/4-h-youth-development/), and the State 4-H (https://4h.extension.wisc.edu/ )websites and Facebook pages for new virtual learning opportunities.

Stay well and we hope to see you July 2021!
